I don't understand the "problem." Has she gone "too far" with what -- being derivative? The answer for that particular objection would lie entirely with the artists from whom she borrowed everything in that video -- Ace of Bass, Madonna, Robert Plante, 2 Live Crew, Cher, and the movie, Cabaret, to name just a few.
Obviously, "clewis" (writer of that article) and I may have watched the same video, but we clearly saw different things...
Anyone who deliberately goes looking to be offended will find it.
