Well, it's been a hell of a ride, laying rubber all over the road for the past decade. But it's time to call it a day and park the Rogue in the garage. Effective today, I am shutting down my blog to focus my attention on other endeavours. My thanks to the more than 2.7 million people who regularly joined me on these sojourns through news stories over the years that dealt with the places with issues of religion and faith intersecting with public affairs. May God bless you with a continuing desire to learn about and help disseminate the issues of faith throughout the public square. Happy trails in your continuing travels! Fr. Tim Moyle, p.p. Fifty people at NASA? Do you have any idea how many scientists work for NASA?...and the yahoos that signed this aren't mostly scientists, are they?
ReplyDeleteI would also bet that most of them are far right wing politically and fundamentalist Christians. I bet a fair number of them don't believe in the theory of evolution. Probably think the World is 4,000 years old as well.
LOL. Only in the American South. YOWSER!
Two points - Almost all of these people are not climate scientists and second why do people on the right (I don't mean you) discredit scientists who warn about climate change and embrace scientists who question or disparage climate change.

I think warm earth skepticism has to do with the numerous frauds perpetrated, climate gate 1 and 2, the bogus hockey stick graph, the religious zeal of its champions, the BS propaganda and the fact their models have been shown to be wrong. Behind the scenes lurks socialists, big Green $$ Energy interests and many scientists on the government teat.
