  Fr. Richard Neuhaus (RIP) used the say when asked why he converted from the Lutheran communion to the RC Church that Vatican II finally saw the Catholic Church correct its ways and answer the issues raised by Martin Luther. As he put it, there was no longer any reason to remain separate, so he came home to Rome. Is this the same spirit that seems to be now moving the RC Church towards the 'rehabilitation' of Martin Luther?
