Isn't he a friend and supporter of Bob Morlino, bishop in Madison, Wis. who has cut mass attendance and donations in half in the last year, by bringing in a troop of right wing, Latin liturgist, misogynistic, "missionary" priests from Spain to run several parishes? The K-8 school they run, thriving up until their arrival, last year, is now shutting down, due to lack of support.

Morlino is publicly threatening interdiction for dissenters, ie. most of his current diocese, at this point. I wonder what effect that will have on the situation?

Catholic renewal, yeah, that's the ticket! Make him pope. Morlino can run the inquisition.
