  1. Sadly its a homily I can't recall ever hearing in our parish. We've had a few visiting priests mention it, the more orthodox ones, but its rarely mentioned. Gay marriage was a political hot potato and nobody spoke out, thankfully our Bishop did and had his stance read in the church. I think we need to get back to real Christianity in our homilies. Tell the truth and let the chips fall where they may. Jesus pulled no punches, our priests should do no less. I think we fear offending others more than we fear offending the Lord, many laity and clergy alike. I think if a preacher declares the truth boldly, he may be surprised by the outcome. I know cloning is an abomination but can we clone Father John Corapi?
