Unacceptable to force doctors to participate in assisted dying against their conscience: CMA head | National Post

Yes, it is unacceptable to force a doctor to do something that violates his or her personal ethics. But it will happen anyway if history is any indication. The same sorts of 'guarantees' of conscience were also in place when abortions were legalized and yet now we're at a point where various provincial governments are forcing some to provide the procedure despite their personal moral objections.
