Pope Francis: “A worldly Church is a weak Church” - Vatican Insider

  1. Increasingly throughout the world (non religious) evidence emerges from the collective human psyche that reveals the awakening of a very fundamental desire for unity and an active spiritualization. There is obviously , to often, still a distinct line separating the rich/powerful from the poor /weak but it is that line which is becoming less tolerable , unacceptable and outright rejected by the mass regardless of which category they belong to. In other words the poor and the weak are being gradually raised up from the bottom of the ‘worldly structured ‘ pyramid as a result of this mysterious collective movement and Christ who placed himself at the bottom of the pyramid is being raised with them.
The painful tragedy is that the church (religion) makes the concrete distinction between itself and the “worldly” - a blinding decision which renders her completely oblivious to Christ in residence on earth as in heaven.
