The overwhelming defeat of Bill C-384 proved that we can Push-Back the euthanasia lobby in the US and Canada and convince people that euthanasia and assisted suicide are a dangerous public policy. Reflections from the pastoral ministry of an Evangelical Catholic Priest.
Why, in all that is Holy, is this article on this blog ? It is an argument put forward by some nutty atheist in the nutty USA, and it is here for comment? Come off it!
ReplyDeleteAnon: It's on the blog because it's about where faith and life collide... 'where the rubber hits the road' as it were. This isn't a blog dedicated to teaching the Catholic faith. That's what I do in my full-time job. It's a place to discuss controversial topics where the world of faith intersects the public square. I hope you can see that this means that I need to post a wide variety of articles and columns on a variety of topics.

So, then, is it not an Evangelical Blog? Are you NOT trying to convert?
DeleteIs it not the duty of a Priest to teach and preach the word of God?
Are you not, always, a Priest in the Order of
Melchisedech?,
Does a Priest have days, or hours, or minutes off where he is Not a Priest? If so, there has been a change mad since I was in Catholic School
I do not recall the saying- Where the rubber hits the road- from the Bible! I do recall the expression Thou art a Priest forever.
