The overwhelming defeat of Bill C-384 proved that we can Push-Back the euthanasia lobby in the US and Canada and convince people that euthanasia and assisted suicide are a dangerous public policy. Reflections from the pastoral ministry of an Evangelical Catholic Priest.
And thank reason they refused. This isn't the same. I would guarantee that not one of those bakeries would refuse to bake a cake for a heterosexual couple. What they refused was a hateful statement. As a comparison no Catholic bakery I know of would refuse to make a cake for a mixed race marriage. They would even put a mixed race bride and groom on the top. But I hope everyone would reject a cake that said Mix race marriages are wrong. If that analogy is too severe subtitute the message "Mixed faith message are wrong"
ReplyDeleteIt would hope that "non-gay"bakeries would refuse that messages as well.
