  2. That's a misleading headline. The Quebec course does not teach that all religions are equal. It only treats all religions equally. It's a world religion course similar to a world history course. You would learn about Islam and its many variants but they would not add at the end that here's where Islam is wrong and our religion is better. It's the same as the History course where students should be taught about the reformation and counter-reformation without being given a religious bias to the events.

  3. Rationalist: Actually the headline is pretty accurate. The course material does indeed say that all religions are equal in as much as they are the structuralized belief systems constructed around 'myths'. In short, all religions are equal because they are all false.

Why is it that so many in the atheist community cannot bring  themselves to get past their anger whenever they engage in discussions?
