Poll: Record low are 'pro-choice' - Tim Mak - POLITICO.com

This article comes from an entirely secular source: POLITICO. I post it as evidence of the mounting tide that is beginning to turn against the killing of innocents in the womb.

THIS IS A GOOD THING!! Clearly the pro-life movement is having success at changing the opinions of the majority in the land. We must keep up the pressure until we eventually win.

And we will win eventually!!!  A GOOD thing indeed!!

  1. I'm not making a statement for or against abortion but the obvious question that is raised in any discussion to make abortion illegal is what penalty, if any, would those who seek to make abortion illagal place upon those who participate in an abortion. Who would be charged, the doctor, the nurse, the mother, the father and if so would they face a fine or jail time?

The pro life movement is changing from a mandate legal change to prohibition movement to a movement that advocates moral change through education. That's good.

    1. That's not a bad strategy. With education on how to prevent pregnancy, financial support for single mothers, enforcement of father support payments and gentle suggestions on adoption, it;'s a good strategy to limit as much as possible the number of abortions to extreme medical circumstances such as experience by Rick Santorum's wife.

Pro Life no longer means opposition to legal abortion for many people. This is becoming especially true among younger demographics.

The younger the demographic, the more likely the belief that while abortion is a moral wrong, it is still a woman's choice.

There is not the necessary support to re criminalize abortion. There likely will not be, at least for the next generation or two.

Good will to all men? Not from the grumpy atheists! (Thank God not all atheists are grumpy but there sure seems to be a lot of them)

Why is it that so many in the atheist community cannot bring  themselves to get past their anger whenever they engage in discussions? The language of many of their contributions in public debate is laced with invective and dripping with sarcasm and bile. There are exceptions of course, but they tend to fall more into the category of being the 'exception that proves the rule' when compared to the hostility of many of today's atheist posters. Comment offered by the theists in the public square is often depicted as being 'malicious' or 'venomous' and intended to enslave the 'feeble minded and weak' by those who post. Nothing could be further from the truth. Venom is something that is oriented to death. Christians are oriented in a 180 degree different direction. We speak not to the culture of death  that grips our world but rather for the culture of life and light which ends with the gift of eternal life. For example, the Catholic Church in its hum...
