A long and safe trip

Just a personal note: after 26 straight hours of driving, I finally arrived home with my new companion, Mateo. If I were more awake, I would post a picture; alas, that's beyond my capacity right now.

Thank you for the good wishes and prayers that I received subsequent to Sunday's posting when I announced that I was going to get him.

I'll post a few articles tonight, and tomorrow (hopefully) some cogent remarks.

Well, it's been a hell of a ride, laying rubber all over the road for the past decade. But it's time to call it a day and park the Rogue in the garage.
