Reflections from the pastoral ministry of an Evangelical Catholic Priest.
Jesus and Mary Magdalene has something to say here.
ReplyDeleteWe can't be cafeteria Catholics choosing to obey only what suits our fancy...we must obey all the laws of the Church.
ReplyDeleteHi Larry
ReplyDeleteI believe Jesus and Mary Magdalene would recommend the priest be obedient to the teaching authority of the church as the Lord established it. (Matt 16 v18-19)
Mary Magdalene was never one of the 12 disciples (Jesus chosen priests) nor were any women. Clearly if Jesus adhered to the political correct dogma of our times, 6 men and 6 women would have been in attendance at the last supper when he instituted the Mass.
Cheers
Paul
