European court overturns 2009 ruling on school crucifixes | AHN

  1. “while the crucifix was above all a religious symbol, there was no evidence before the court that the display of such a symbol on classroom walls might have an influence on pupils.”

    Is this true? Has the Catholic sysmbol of the crucifix become so irrelevant it has no affect on Italian students living in the heart of Catholic Europe? If so non believers have won and Catholicism has no influence.
