Well, it's been a hell of a ride, laying rubber all over the road for the past decade. But it's time to call it a day and park the Rogue in the garage. Effective today, I am shutting down my blog to focus my attention on other endeavours. My thanks to the more than 2.7 million people who regularly joined me on these sojourns through news stories over the years that dealt with the places with issues of religion and faith intersecting with public affairs. May God bless you with a continuing desire to learn about and help disseminate the issues of faith throughout the public square. Happy trails in your continuing travels! Fr. Tim Moyle, p.p. As opposed to all those stories and pictures of young children "embracing" Jesus?
ReplyDeleteTim, really...this is unworthy of you. That article is odiously slanted. Even more so than most of what comes out of Lifesite.
Lady Janus: I hope you understand that if I came across an article where a 10 yr old was used to promote ANY political agenda that I would post it here with similar comments from me.
ReplyDeleteI object to kids being misused no matter by whom or no matter the cause.
This is a case that qualifies under that rubric.
Fr. Tim
It's actually Wildmon and his ilk who think it's perfectly okay to use children as long as it's for Jesus.
ReplyDeleteBut when I directed my comment to you, I was actually talking about the language used in the "article." Do you not see what they're doing?
