Senators score NHL draft coup - The Globe and Mail
Well, it's been a hell of a ride, laying rubber all over the road for the past decade. But it's time to call it a day and park the Rogue in the garage. Effective today, I am shutting down my blog to focus my attention on other endeavours. My thanks to the more than 2.7 million people who regularly joined me on these sojourns through news stories over the years that dealt with the places with issues of religion and faith intersecting with public affairs. Imagine if you were a Maple Leafs fan. Then you would have some understanding of futility. But the Sens have only been around for 18 years in the modern era. They're new kids on the block.
ReplyDeleteMichael: So true. Being a Leaf fan is (IMO) akin to living an ascetic life of perpetual penance.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, they are very Christian in that they continue to hope for a reward that most likely won't arrive in this life!
