Well, it's been a hell of a ride, laying rubber all over the road for the past decade. But it's time to call it a day and park the Rogue in the garage. Effective today, I am shutting down my blog to focus my attention on other endeavours. My thanks to the more than 2.7 million people who regularly joined me on these sojourns through news stories over the years that dealt with the places with issues of religion and faith intersecting with public affairs. May God bless you with a continuing desire to learn about and help disseminate the issues of faith throughout the public square. Happy trails in your continuing travels! Fr. Tim Moyle, p.p. In all likelyness this is a hoax, like crop circles.
ReplyDeleteNot a hoax, Michael. Neither are all crop circles.
ReplyDeleteand here's the image they used to fake it.

Hello Michael,
ReplyDeleteThe only problem is that this was a video, not a static image. There also seems to be two accounts from different locations that seem to match. I don't rule out a hoax either but I think your dismissing the phenomena on pretty slim evidence. I agree on the crop circles though. I've seen video's of guys making them with a planks and a rope. Some pretty elaborate ones as well in the dark of night.
Though even with that phenomena, I'm not closed to the idea that something of a supernatural nature could be occurring in some cases.
Cheers

It is a video but the backdrop is a still. Compare the lights in the two images of Jerusalem, even the lights in windows. They're identical.
ReplyDeleteMichael
ReplyDeleteI think you may be right on the one video. It is identical to the photo you posted. Same lights on, same flair from the street lights which remains static despite the movement of the camera. Good catch!
Cheers
