South Dakota Shelves Bill on Killings in Defense of the Unborn - NYTimes.com

A ham-handed attempt that produced a VERY BAD bill. Everyone, pro-life or pro-choice should be offended by this legislation. Thankfully it will probably never become law, but it does point to some of the stupidity around the abortion issue.
