  1. This story is profoundly troubling.

And so it's just the priests and bishops who seem to have a little trouble being forthright and truthful. If groups like SNAP are going to toss swords around, they would do well to ensure that even their most basic practices are followed in an ethical manner!

  2. When you get right down to it, SNAP is a Catholic organization, isn't it? Run by and for Catholics. Is it any wonder that falsehood and misdirection are SOP? I think not.

Why so smug, Stevey? They don't seem to have anything over you? Nobody can lie like a Catholic priest.

  3. Ah more anti Catholic banter! So predictable.
Ms Anonymous you sound like an unhappy, bitter person. I promise to pray for you.

All good things must come to an end

Well, it's been a hell of a ride, laying rubber all over the road for the past decade. But it's time to call it a day and park the Rogue in the garage. Effective today, I am shutting down my blog to focus my attention on other endeavours. My thanks to the more than 2.7 million people who regularly joined me on these sojourns through news stories over the years that dealt with the places with issues of religion and faith intersecting with public affairs. May God bless you with a continuing desire to learn about and help disseminate the issues of faith throughout the public square. Happy trails in your continuing travels! Fr. Tim Moyle, p.p.
