With thanks to Michael at 'Freedom through Truth', who was inspired by the weather there (and here) today to remember this song from a few years ago. It does help to see the beauty of such a day to listen to a quiet and inspiring song such as this one. We can think of this song as an ode of love from one to another, or between God and us. Or we can just enjoy 2:20 minutes of soothing music. Either way, it's a nice thing to do on a cold and wet day like today.
Well, it's been a hell of a ride, laying rubber all over the road for the past decade. But it's time to call it a day and park the Rogue in the garage. Effective today, I am shutting down my blog to focus my attention on other endeavours. My thanks to the more than 2.7 million people who regularly joined me on these sojourns through news stories over the years that dealt with the places with issues of religion and faith intersecting with public affairs. Mmmmmmmmmmm...oh, my, my, what a long time it's been since I've heard this! I used to have quad speakers in my car (when I used to have a car), and when this song was on, I turned up the rear speakers to get the full benefit of those Andean pipes warbling in the background...awesome...
