  1. I read this on HuffPo a day or so ago. The interesting question here is what is Christianity and what makes a person a Christian. Progressives seem to have a much broader definition and Trads much narrower.

At some point you really have to ask the question do you even have to believe in God or the divinity of Jesus to be a true Christian and then presto-chango, you're staring post Christianity right in the face. The Unitarians have already made this leap.

I don't think Benny and his red beanie boys are ready to head down this road, just yet and that's where things are clearly heading. May not node well for them.

All good things must come to an end

Well, it's been a hell of a ride, laying rubber all over the road for the past decade. But it's time to call it a day and park the Rogue in the garage. Effective today, I am shutting down my blog to focus my attention on other endeavours. My thanks to the more than 2.7 million people who regularly joined me on these sojourns through news stories over the years that dealt with the places with issues of religion and faith intersecting with public affairs. May God bless you with a continuing desire to learn about and help disseminate the issues of faith throughout the public square. Happy trails in your continuing travels! Fr. Tim Moyle, p.p.
