What point is there in treating HIV/AIDs at huge expense, Worldwide and then relying only on voluntary abstinence from sex as a preventive measure.

One of the most common infection scenarios among Catholic Africans is that of a married, monogamous woman, who doesn't work outside the home, of child bearing years, whose first symptom of HIV infection is when one of her youngest children sickens and dies of AIDS. This is the culture promoted by Benedict and his beanie boys.
