Well, it's been a hell of a ride, laying rubber all over the road for the past decade. But it's time to call it a day and park the Rogue in the garage. Effective today, I am shutting down my blog to focus my attention on other endeavours. My thanks to the more than 2.7 million people who regularly joined me on these sojourns through news stories over the years that dealt with the places with issues of religion and faith intersecting with public affairs. May God bless you with a continuing desire to learn about and help disseminate the issues of faith throughout the public square. Happy trails in your continuing travels! Fr. Tim Moyle, p.p. Reflections from the pastoral ministry of an Evangelical Catholic Priest.
The worst of all possible worlds. Evidence of an afterlife that totally invalidates everything I stand for and there are lawyers involved.

Rationalist: Ain't it great? I couldn't resist posting it. The blog author himself sent me the link.
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of that old joke about the angels that wanted to get married. God put them off for years before granting them their request. After a few decades, the angels realized that they made a mistake and wanted to be free to see other angels so they asked God for a divorce. "IMPOSSIBLE!" thundered God. "Is it because Jesus said that humans couldn't divorce?" asked the angels. "No", said God. "It took years to finally get a priest up here to marry you. You'll have to wait forever before a lawyer finally makes it here!"

Always count on you to come up with the very Seraphim of jokes.
