Well, it's been a hell of a ride, laying rubber all over the road for the past decade. But it's time to call it a day and park the Rogue in the garage. Effective today, I am shutting down my blog to focus my attention on other endeavours. My thanks to the more than 2.7 million people who regularly joined me on these sojourns through news stories over the years that dealt with the places with issues of religion and faith intersecting with public affairs. May God bless you with a continuing desire to learn about and help disseminate the issues of faith throughout the public square. Happy trails in your continuing travels! Fr. Tim Moyle, p.p. Diocese of Pembroke
Reflections from the pastoral ministry of an Evangelical Catholic Priest.
Thanks for the plug! :)
ReplyDeleteNow if all Priests told the truth as Father Gionet, the Catholic Church would regain the respect it has lost, and might even be considered the one true faithful Church, unfortunately, this is not the case today.
ReplyDeleteAnd maybe a few more Protestants would return "Home"?

Congratulations Fr .Gionet!
ReplyDeleteYou'll boldly go where few Catholic priests have gone before... in Canada at least. Its a shame you're being punished for preaching the gospel and authentic Catholicism but the Lord told you preaching the Gospel will cost you. Catholics desperately need to hear it but few shepherds have the fortitude to deliver it. Its especially sad when your bishop caves to accommodate sin rather than upholding the teachings of the church.

When a bishop gets the mitre , does that really affect his brain waves?
ReplyDeleteYet another Priest thrown under the bus by his Bishop for being faithful to church teaching and having the courage to speak the truth.
