Well, it's been a hell of a ride, laying rubber all over the road for the past decade. But it's time to call it a day and park the Rogue in the garage. Effective today, I am shutting down my blog to focus my attention on other endeavours. My thanks to the more than 2.7 million people who regularly joined me on these sojourns through news stories over the years that dealt with the places with issues of religion and faith intersecting with public affairs. Not to mention they turn people into zombies. How often I've seen my niece off on another planet while sitting right next to us while she eagerly awaits the next life altering text message to arrive. I had to shake my head another time when she got texted from her friends that they were coming over to see her. I later looked out in the driveway and the three of them stood around together staring at their cell phones. My wife and I vowed we'd never get our kids cell phones.
