News story on Syrian refugees making donation in aid of Fort McMurray victims - 'We know how they must feel'

There are still many Canadians who oppose Canada taking in Syrians fleeing from the war in their homeland because of the mistaken belief that as Muslims they intend to do us harm. Hopefully, this news clip will help to demonstrate that they are just people like ourselves who are moved when tragedy affects others who they do not even know and that they mean us no harm at all.
