Well, it's been a hell of a ride, laying rubber all over the road for the past decade. But it's time to call it a day and park the Rogue in the garage. Effective today, I am shutting down my blog to focus my attention on other endeavours. My thanks to the more than 2.7 million people who regularly joined me on these sojourns through news stories over the years that dealt with the places with issues of religion and faith intersecting with public affairs. May God bless you with a continuing desire to learn about and help disseminate the issues of faith throughout the public square. Happy trails in your continuing travels! Fr. Tim Moyle, p.p. Diocese of Pembroke
Reflections from the pastoral ministry of an Evangelical Catholic Priest.
What a way to take credit for REDUCING a crime and a SIN which should never have taken place in the Catholic Church ! And, then, to add insult to injury , they quote Cardinal Dolan, yes- he who bankrupted the Milwaukee Diocese paying out awards made by Courts for people sexually abused by Priests !!!
ReplyDeleteThis reminds be, in a strange way, of the old story. Mary tells a butcher the competition down the street is selling pork chops for 75cents a pound, but, they were sold out ! The butcher responded * If I did not have any either, I would sell them at 50cents a pound!
these blind guides just do NOT get it ! The thought of zero tolerance , when it comes to sex abuse by Priests of ALL stripes, just does mot make sis way through their thick skulls.
Or, are they just protecting themselves ?
