Well, it's been a hell of a ride, laying rubber all over the road for the past decade. But it's time to call it a day and park the Rogue in the garage. Effective today, I am shutting down my blog to focus my attention on other endeavours. My thanks to the more than 2.7 million people who regularly joined me on these sojourns through news stories over the years that dealt with the places with issues of religion and faith intersecting with public affairs. Well- let us analyze the political situation first.
ReplyDeleteThe NDP will be in favour of assisted suic1de, and so will the Liberals and the Bloc, and , yes, Mrs Green Party.
How about the Catholic Church? Will they oppose it strongly before a Bill is passed, or wait until the Bill is passed and then get vocal. That would be about the way the Bishops in Canada have acted on most moral matters in Canada.
How I wish and Pray we would really get some good, strong-in-the-Faith Catholic Bishops. We can forget about the Cardinals. One is in Rome, and the other is too folksy.
Come, Lord Jesus, Come !
