Well, it's been a hell of a ride, laying rubber all over the road for the past decade. But it's time to call it a day and park the Rogue in the garage. Effective today, I am shutting down my blog to focus my attention on other endeavours. My thanks to the more than 2.7 million people who regularly joined me on these sojourns through news stories over the years that dealt with the places with issues of religion and faith intersecting with public affairs. May God bless you with a continuing desire to learn about and help disseminate the issues of faith throughout the public square. Happy trails in your continuing travels! Fr. Tim Moyle, p.p. Reflections from the pastoral ministry of an Evangelical Catholic Priest.

Hey Fr. Tim
ReplyDeleteNice moose but he's been circulating on the internet for about 3 years now at least. I've had it sent to me long ago by hunting buddies but I've never heard an origin for the photo. Looks like a Photoshop job to me but I could be wrong. It certainly wasn't taken last week.
Cheers

Paul: YIKES! Do you mean that the former parishioner who sent me the photo was pulling my leg? When I asked if the photo was legit, she gave me all types of details as to exactly where the photo was taken etc. I guess I'm an easier mark than I thought I was!
ReplyDeleteFr. Tim
I'm afraid so TIm. That moose has been making the rounds for a while now. Maybe your former parishioner was duped by someone else too. I get all kinds of emails from well meaning people with false information. You can see the same picture posted in this thread back in 2009.
