Well, it's been a hell of a ride, laying rubber all over the road for the past decade. But it's time to call it a day and park the Rogue in the garage. Effective today, I am shutting down my blog to focus my attention on other endeavours. My thanks to the more than 2.7 million people who regularly joined me on these sojourns through news stories over the years that dealt with the places with issues of religion and faith intersecting with public affairs. May God bless you with a continuing desire to learn about and help disseminate the issues of faith throughout the public square. Happy trails in your continuing travels! Fr. Tim Moyle, p.p. Reflections from the pastoral ministry of an Evangelical Catholic Priest.
Jesus asked us to feed the hungry and clothe the naked...both organizations should have done that instead of what strikes me as very childish , selfish behavior and words that only foster animosity...our words and energies should be only for the honor and glory of God.
ReplyDeleteIt's a myth and it's real and it's a lot of other things, as well. Tomorrow is the beginning of Hanakkuh. Kwanzaa starts of the 26th. Yule is on the 21st. The Martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji is on the 8th. Ganga-Bois is on the 10th, followed by Agou-Arroyo on the 12th. Zartusht - No - Diso on the 26th.
ReplyDeleteIt's only "Christmas" if you are Christian. What's the big deal?
