Death: Catholics vs. the 'nones'

  1. "How will the "nones" mourn?"

To quote Shakespeare with one change :

"Hath not a [None] hands, organs, dimensions, senses, affections, passions? Fed with the same food, hurt with the same weapons, subject to the same diseases, healed by the same means, warmed and cooled by the same winter and summer as a Christian is? If you prick us, do we not bleed?"

We mourn like you do but more like a wake than a solemn funeral mass. It involves being more personally involved in the process rather than leaving it to the clergy.

I too want Ave Verum Corpus played at my wake, not for religious reasons but because it's the most sublime 43 bars of music ever written.
