Statistics Canada report: For 1st time, Canada has more seniors than children | CTV News

There you have it folks... the fuse on the Canadian demographic bomb has now been lit. Just think, within 15 years there will only be two working taxpayers for every retired person. So get your health care while you can because pretty soon the government is going to only be able to afford to offer its citizens a 'merciful death' instead of the expensive medical procedures we'll need to keep us alive. Isn't it a wonderful thing that we've just made it possible for the government to do this through the legalization of euthanasia? Just think of all the money the government is going to save!!

Think I'm being a touch too extreme in my prediction? Just remember that the only thing separating us from this dire fate is a politician's promise not to do it. Pretty thin gruel to bet our life on imho.
