Well, it's been a hell of a ride, laying rubber all over the road for the past decade. But it's time to call it a day and park the Rogue in the garage. Effective today, I am shutting down my blog to focus my attention on other endeavours. My thanks to the more than 2.7 million people who regularly joined me on these sojourns through news stories over the years that dealt with the places with issues of religion and faith intersecting with public affairs. I wish everyone was equal and every voice heard in the church but it is not, is it?
ReplyDeleteEveryone in the world is equal. Let us love a world even in which not everyone is treated equally. The world is full of brokenness , weakness , failure and injustice. It’s the recognition of all these truthful things about one another ( as brothers and sisters in humanity) that opens the door to a new and transcendent world.
ReplyDeleteYes and let us love a church who has discovered that everyone in it is equal… and let us show them that everyone in the world is equal… and let us show them that everyone in the world deserves to be treated equally.
Recognition and concealment are not necessarily in opposition but the relationship between them is at the very least sketchy and stagnant.
