  1. These are the like of questions and commentaries that reveal such strange notions of God and is truly the nonsense from where atheism rises. What reasonable minded grown-up can possibly assent to any belief in such a ridiculous god as this?

  2. A more basic question. Why would a God want/need worship? That seems very strange bordering on ...

    There's a reasonable chance that within the next 100 years if civilization endures we will be able to create a computer with self aware intelligence. If that happens, what would be the reaction if the most important thing the computer scientists did was to make sure the computer worshiped and praised it.

    Can you imagine the computer Psalmist exclaiming "I will extol You, my Programmer, O King, and I will bless Your code forever and ever. Every day I will bless You, and I will praise Your code forever and ever. Great is the Programmer, and highly to be praised, and His greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall praise Your code to another, and shall declare Your mighty subroutines"? with apologies to Psalm 145
