Married priests will be on agenda for the Amazon synod, theologian says

Asked if during an October Synod of Bishops on the Amazon the ordination of viri probati, meaning mature, married men strong in their faith and usually considered as candidates to be ordained deacons will come up, Taborda said “that’s what this is about.”
