  1. And---where are we in Canada on this? The Clergy seem to be completely unaware of the topic, or unwilling to take it on . .Shame, Shame on those who will not stand up for the teaching of the Catholic Church. I hope they will not be surprised if Our Lord does not recognize them when they die!

    1. Anon: Not all of us are unaware! Priests for Life is doing its best to ensure that all of us know exactly what confronts us on the life agenda. But you are right about one thing: more of my brothers need to find the courage to stand up for these teachings in their preaching and public ministry. Some of them have seemed to forgotten that it's more important to preach and teach the truth than it is to be popular, progressive, or non-confrontational whenever we stand in the pulpit. Please pray for them.

    2. Father, I am taking a different approach. Many of my friends and myself are having Masses said for the laity of our Archdiocese, where the laity are starving for correct catechesis... It is mostly feel-good crap we are dished out. The Priests know better, but have chosen the lower road, which leads straight to Hell.
The Bishops, for the most part, are asleep at the switch, and indifferent as to what hogwash is being served up.

All good things must come to an end

Well, it's been a hell of a ride, laying rubber all over the road for the past decade. But it's time to call it a day and park the Rogue in the garage. Effective today, I am shutting down my blog to focus my attention on other endeavours. My thanks to the more than 2.7 million people who regularly joined me on these sojourns through news stories over the years that dealt with the places with issues of religion and faith intersecting with public affairs. May God bless you with a continuing desire to learn about and help disseminate the issues of faith throughout the public square. Happy trails in your continuing travels! Fr. Tim Moyle, p.p.
