A Very IMPORTANT announcement that Mateo (my faithful canine companion) and I wish to share with you

Ladies and Gentlemen, friends, family and visitors here to this blog: May I present to you, Hobbs, soon to be the newest addition to my home here in Western Quebec and a new younger brother to annoy Mateo!
Hobbs at 4 weeks of age

Hobbs'  arrival is expected sometime around the first part of April... or perhaps a little sooner if we're lucky. I imagine that after such a long flight, this little gaffer's going to need some peace and quiet to rest up from the trip. That is if this photo is indicative of a sleepy temperment.
'Must keep my eyes open... Must keep my ... zzzz'

No doubt though that once he gets his feet firmly planted, he'll be ready to carve a place into our lives... space which Mateo and I are only too happy to share with another plucky spirit like ourselves.
Where am I going to live? Québec???
Tabernac!' But I'm a Prarie dog ain't I?

All good things must come to an end

Well, it's been a hell of a ride, laying rubber all over the road for the past decade. But it's time to call it a day and park the Rogue in the garage. Effective today, I am shutting down my blog to focus my attention on other endeavours. My thanks to the more than 2.7 million people who regularly joined me on these sojourns through news stories over the years that dealt with the places with issues of religion and faith intersecting with public affairs. May God bless you with a continuing desire to learn about and help disseminate the issues of faith throughout the public square. Happy trails in your continuing travels! Fr. Tim Moyle, p.p.
