Well, it's been a hell of a ride, laying rubber all over the road for the past decade. But it's time to call it a day and park the Rogue in the garage. Effective today, I am shutting down my blog to focus my attention on other endeavours. My thanks to the more than 2.7 million people who regularly joined me on these sojourns through news stories over the years that dealt with the places with issues of religion and faith intersecting with public affairs. This reminds me of a National Lampoon parody of the Watchtower magazine I saw nearly 50 years ago. The banner on the front cover asked the question, "Is God a Dim Bulb?"
ReplyDeleteScience will never prove there is no heaven (or hell for that matter). It will only offer alternative explanations for NDE to explain why the experience of a person being exposed to oxygen deprivation often experience hallucinations that are in keeping with their societal notions of an afterlife. Although it is interesting that no one experiences particular judgement.
