  1. I didn't read the link but my take on the comment was that it obviously was intended as a joke, albeit perhaps a poor one in the context of religious reaction against offense in France. But I will give him a by on that one. But perhaps more germane was his not distinguishing between an insult on a person from an insult on an idea. That is much more telling.
