  1. Cooperation is something that will not be achieved overnight. It is complicated and we also have 500 years of history to overcome.

    Prejudice and church loyalty are hard to integrate into the 21st century thinking. As one married to a Roman Catholic one has to overcome bigotry and bias almost on a daily basis. One of the difficulties comes from an unexpected wing of Catholicism, and that is the extreme right or fundamentalists who preach extreme loyalty to Catholicism, reminding all who would listen that the Catholic Church is the only way to heaven. Included are such statements as "there is no salvation outside the Catholic Church", or the "fullness of truth exists only in the Catholic Church."

    It is complicated and not easy to obtain unity, especially when there is a lack of charity.
