Man’s ‘Historical’ Claim About Jesus and the Bible Would Throw Christianity Into a Tailspin — but Is It Really True? | TheBlaze.com

GOOD GRIEF! Jesus was a 'figment of early believer's imagination'?

Does this author expect people to believe that the apostles who were all martyred (all save for John that is) died because they believed in a make-believe fantasy messiah? How can nonsense like this worthy of publication in anything more credible than The Enquirer' - sandwiched between stories claiming that Obama is an alien or that a three headed man lives in the backwaters of some southern state. And yet there it is in a magazine published by The Council for Secular Humanism.

Good grief indeed!

All good things must come to an end

Well, it's been a hell of a ride, laying rubber all over the road for the past decade. But it's time to call it a day and park the Rogue in the garage. Effective today, I am shutting down my blog to focus my attention on other endeavours. My thanks to the more than 2.7 million people who regularly joined me on these sojourns through news stories over the years that dealt with the places with issues of religion and faith intersecting with public affairs. May God bless you with a continuing desire to learn about and help disseminate the issues of faith throughout the public square. Happy trails in your continuing travels! Fr. Tim Moyle, p.p.
