The...Seems to me that Mr Shea is missing the point. The "friend" doesn't seem to be hostile toward his Catholic aquaintence, God or the church. He seems to be hostile towards the priestly class. Considering the arbitrary selection for, autocratic power over and complete lack of oversight by, the communities in which they serve and this in light of the terrible atrocity these fiends often wreak upon them, what's not to be hostile about?<br /> <br />Good Catholic communities will not be secure within themselves, until they throw off the bonds of slavery that they suffer under this insufferable class of craven clerical nobility, from the pope himself to the most humble chaplin of the faith. Genuinely humble faith does not require the sufferance of tyranny or the abominations of Sodom upon innocent children.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
